Indian equity markets have remained a bit volatile over the past few trading session. A lot of announcements like RBI policy, IIP data and Inflation data were made since the start of August 2016. Inflation data for the month of July 2016 (6.07 percent) is marginally higher than that of the RBI comfort levels. And IIP data for June 2016 at 2.10 percent was well above the street estimates. However one noticeable factor is, good foreign institutional investors (FII) Inflows Indian equity markets witnessed in the month of August and also on YTD basis. We think the kind of FII inflows Indian equity markets are witnessing there is good strength in markets.
